Making the Metaverse a reality with PolkaCiphers NFTzie Ecosystem
The current topic lighting up every brain function and pouring in funds from the most respected investors in the Blockchain Industry right now is the subject of the Metaverse.
So what is the Metaverse? or at least for Blockchain ecosystems, what’s Metaverse Version 1.0?
The Metaverse is a collective virtual shared space, created by the convergence of virtually enhanced physical reality and physically persistent virtual space, including the sum of all virtual worlds, augmented reality, and the Internet.
In the Blockchain space, this gets a little more technical as we use many Blockchains, tokens, coins, and different NFTs that work only within a set space or game.
If you have a play-2-earn game on Binance Smart Chain with its in-game assets (NFTs), how can one play a game built on Ethereum, Polygon, or even Avalanche? Think of Fortnite skins; you can only use them in Fortnite but what if you could take those skins and use them in Call of Duty or Valorant?
This boils down to interoperability, chain agnostic networks, and the decision of collaboration between these projects to allow the functionality of in-game assets to pass through borders or limitations of being on alternative Blockchains, but, to get to the technologies allowing for these realities or in some cases, virtual realities, you must have the underlying technologies to provide this cross-chain or cross-border functionality.
This is where we at PolkaCipher fit in.
PolkaCipher is indeed in progress to become a privacy-focused cross-chain oracle network and while we progress in the meantime we must build our technologies/products to that next step to ensure that we have an ecosystem that combines multiple Blockchains in one and allows for the cross-chain compository to be active with users and projects to progress.
As you may have seen this week, LiL Moon Rockets, an NFT company with over 13,337 NFTs in their collection opened up their portal to the next stages by initiating a collection bridge of their NFTs to port across Ethereum, Binance smart chain, and of course Polygon.
This was done using our latest ecosystem called NFTzie which is the industry-first cross-chain NFT bridge platform with an extensive tool base under development.
By launching a platform like NFTzie, opens up a new world of possibilities where Open World Games currently being built using Unity or Unreal Engine to include Blockchain technologies can mix their gaming environments with others creating a total Borderless Metaverse.
But before we jump in and overshadow the steps required to get to the cross-border game functionality they call “The Metaverse”, the technologies we build today and the next are the stages we are taking to get there.
Additionally, as a project with a utility token within our ecosystem it is important that our community is aware that while we are not rushing out with Fortnite or Axie infinity style games, by taking these first steps and developing this technology now, we are priming our position to hold the answers and keys to the bigger picture.
